Alright in order for this to work... that is for us to start picking our books two months out... we need to know who is hosting the book club in September so they can be ready to present their book at the meeting in August. Also you need to know my pick for August. So any volunteers to host September's book club (probably September 16th if we are sticking to the Wednesday schedule).
I would like to read the Princess Bride by William Goldman for our next book- I have never read this but I hear it is a fun read. However, two other options are Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris (another book I've been meaning to read but haven't gotten to yet) or Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen which is a juvenile book but such a cute story it's really worth a read sometime and I would be happy to read it again. So give me your feedback and I will be seeing you guys in less than two weeks.

I'm down with reading The Princess Bride. I've always wanted to read it too. (However, Me Talk Pretty One Day is also on my list so I'd be up for that too.) I can host in September if no one else wants to or I can host in October. Last time I hosted though only Candi came and Gina kinda showed up half dead, it was lame so I'm only hosting if people show up.
Wait, I don't have internet so I better not host in September when Marie was the one who picked the book and there's a chance we couldn't get a conection...
I have read The Princess Bride before, and I absolutely loved it, I would love to read it again. I've also read Me Talk Pretty One Day, and I liked it pretty well, but not as much as I liked The Princess Bride.
And I'd be happy to host sometime, except that I live in St George. . . Maybe sometime when I'm in town.
I vote for The Princess Bride, Nat read it and said it was hysterical so I am all for that. Also I feel very good about Megan hosting the next meeting. I will come, but then I always come so...
Did Megan host it last time? Wait...didn't Megan move since last time?

I don't know what you're confused about. You seem to have it right (although I don't know that I picked Time Traveler's Wife, I was making the Yorkshire Pudding when someone else brought it up in the other room. I just said I'd read it and it was good so you made me write the blog post.)
I love the Princess Bride! I am excited to read it again. I remember it making me laugh lots. :)
I would be happy to host anytime anywhere. I haven't moved yet, will be at the end of this month. Gina hasn't hosted in a while either.
